- A Lesson -

They Said "you'll never make it,"

And they thought that they were right,

But I kept on plodding onwards

because i hope i might.

They shook their heads in wonder,

that I lack the sense to quit,

And I held my chin up higher

And I dint mind a bit

They said "you'll never make it."

As the problems multiplied

but I had to make an effort

To know at least I've tried.

So I dug my heels in deeper

though sometimes my spirit lagged,

And I shuddered what is lightest,

And the rest I sort of dragged

And I found to my amazement

at the ending of the day

That what they said I couldn't

I had managed anyway.

It only took three words,

'God, help me' and i rid,

myself of doubt, and all they said 

I'd never make it...I did!

It's been so lonely without you all these days,

I've missed you in a thousand ways,

I find myself reading each letter that you send,

A thousand times over, from beginning to end,

My heart beats faster and I'm lonesome all the more,

When i read, "With Love...to the girl i Adore."

But somehow at twilight my longings seem to cease,

In the solace that comes from the quiet and peace,

And I find relief in happy reveries,

Filled with fondest memories.

I remember every phase you ever said,

And sorrow turns to joy instead

I remember all the plans we made together,

And how we used to wonder whether,

They'd ever be more than dreams and really come true.

I know they will some day - don't you?

 So it doesn't matter so much that we're miles apart,

As long as you're here.......

or are we Not?

You told me once

But i Forgot

Tell me Now

and tell me true,

So i can say 

I'm here for you

Of all the friends 

I've ever met,

You're the one I won't forget.

And if I die before you do,

I'll go to heaven and wait for you.

I'll give the Angels back the wings,

And risk the loss of Everything.

Have you ever.....

Have you ever loved someone and they have absolutely no idea? Or fell for your best friend in the entire world and then sit around and watched him/her fall for someone else? 

Have you ever denied your feelings for someone because you fear of rejection was too hard to handle? 

We tell lies when we are afraid..afraid of what we don't know, afraid of what after will think, afriad of what will be found out about us. But every time we tell a lie...the thing we fear grows stronger.

Have you ever noticed that the worst way to miss someone is when they are right beside you and yet you can never have them? When the moment you can't feel them under your fingertips you miss them?

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most ; saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing and wishing you had? I guess the most important thing to say is the hardest thing to say. Don't be afraid to tell someone you love them. If you do...they might break your heart. But if you don't...you might break theirs.

Have you ever decided not to be a couple because you were so afraid of losing what you already had with that person? Your heart decides who it likes or who it doesn't. You can't tell your heart what to do. It does it on its own..when you least expect it, or even when you don't want it.

Have you ever wanted to love someone with everything you had, but that person was too afraid to let you? Too many of us stay walled because we are too afraid to care too much..for fear that the other person does not care as much, or that all life is all about risks and it requires you to jump. 

Don't be a person who has to look back and wonder what they would have, or could have had. Liv
