Another day~

Aah..was waken by the noises of the husses and buzzes of the city that never sleeps. Chaos at the streets and subways as everyone rushes to get to work in time. Today is the first day of study break for finals but wasn't feeling up to it. Tried to read at least a chapter of business studies syllabus but gave up as I couldn't even focus. Finally, i managed to date a few friends out for a movie.ha! We reached KLCC at about half pass 3 and decided to watch Surrogates, starring Bruce Willis. The movie was about substitutess(clone) of beings by machines that looks exactly like humans. The purpose of inventing surrogates is to allow humans which are incapable of having a normal life due to physical constraints. However, these machines were misused without serving the purpose and was then taken advantage by the people to create a perfect community where everybody posses a certain look they desire in life.

They live their everyday lives by monitoring thier personal surrogates in the comfort of their own home. Its like a WEIRD community where everybody looks So So perfect and pretty.

The movie was quite interesting but kind of predictable and it lasted for only less than 2hours. After that, me and my so-call-dates went for a quick dinner at the Signature level2 food court in KLCC. We then bought ourselves a drink at starbucks and sat by the park behind KLSuria mall.

Caffe Latte grande size costs only RM10.50 at starbucks.

Enjoying the view of our nations pride, one of the greatest accomplishments of Malaysia. The Petronas Twin Tower which is located just behind KLSuria Mall.

Cam shot with one of the models promoting Polo Ralph Lauren perfumes along with their display bike.
Eish..my wonderful so-call-dates sitting by the stairs at the park.

Ha~!!!managed to camwhore before i call it a day. Quite satisfied now after pampering myself to a day out so its time to concentrate in studies for awhile as all the guilt for not doing so are getting to me.

We can stop this!!

I'm posting this because i feel that everyone should be aware of the things that are happening around us. I believe by posting this it could make a difference.

Sad to say that many among us are not aware of Human Trafficking which is serious type of modern slavery. Many Malaysians do not even realise that human trafficking even exists in our country. Victims of Human trafficking are mostly children, women and immigrants that are easily tricked into becoming slaves, beggars or prostitutes. Many people are deceived to believe they are offered a better job overseas but instead they are heading in for the worst. Women and children as young as the age of 5 would be forced into prostitution. Whilst, migrant workers would be locked up and sold to work in plantation without being paid a single cent.

Everybody is greedy but money is not the root of all evils..its humanity that is. We could make a difference by:

1)Helping to spread the word.
2)There is more information in Trafficking in Persons report at http://tinyurl.com/lmfd56
3)Report to Tenaganita or the police if you know of a trafficked person.
4)You may also donate to shelters which is organised by Tenaganita(an anti-trafficking programme) 03-26913691/71\
5)Or you may purchase the specially developed Soft Hands Kind Heart Hand Cream by The Body Shop at the price of RM39.90 . The purchase of each bottle, Rm30 will go to ECPAT International, Tenaganita, Nur Salam and P.S The Children.

We must help one another, nobody deserves to be treated like slaves especially innocent children.
