-Rise & Shine! Hush~Hush!-

One thing that my father always tells us when we're on a trip is to NEVER never oversleep. Its a holiday for God's sake..get your butts up and get ready to explore! Ha! It's true though. Wouldn't want to miss anything and definitely not wanting to be stuck in traffic along the way. (Continuing the 2nd the of our trip) Got up the earliest at half pass six that morning, wouldn't want to queue for the bathroom. ha! Shower, got dress..blah blah blah..!and head out before 8a.m.

Ooops, forget to mention, that we stayed overnight at my uncle's house in Johor on the 1st day. Well, our plan of going to the bird park on that day was soon called off as it was raining the whole day. Head to my uncle's second home in Singapore because we can't check into the hotel that early.(More pictures below)

(Opening present on Christmas Eve??ha! couldn't wait another day.)

(The little Christmas tree my cousins put up-isn't that cute!)

(This is a Huge king sized bed in one of our junior suite)

(Two single beds in our second junior suite)
Compliments for those who leave in suites of that hotel was able to dine for free at their executive club on the highest floor. Sweet!!

(Always obsessed of taking pictures of toilets in hotels we stayed)

(Christmas tree in Grant Hyatt-the hotel we're staying on Scotts road)

(Came across this cute Christmas tree made out of Teddy bears)

My outfit for that evening was soon looking like it was abused and crumpled. Going for a walk around Orchard road on Christmas Eve seems to be a terrible mistake. It was so freaking crowded! Felt like a pack of sardines squeezed in a tin!

 (My mom and grandma)

(Love birds posing in front of Tangs mall)

(Night Kisses to all and Merry Christmas!)

Get-up and go~Jam-jam-Jamboree!!

Ah..the smell of fresh present wrappers sitting patiently under the Christmas tree. The atmosphere full of anxiety and eagerness of people rushing to finish their last minute shopping. As families gather around to pick out the best ornaments and decorations for this special occasion, little children with their pencils and papers busily thinking of what to ask from Santa. This year's Christmas gathering at Singapore was superb!! More pictures below...Enjoy:)

(This was taken in KLCC a week before Christmas, did my last minute shopping)

( Ist day of our trip)

(My Great Grandma now aged 94 if i'm not mistaken)

Stopped by at my Great-Grandma's house on the way to Johor. Even though she's bed ridden, she still hasn't lost her sense of humor. Ha! She used to take care of me when i was younger. I remember that she used to make the best 'Nasi Lemak' and meat roll every time we visit her during Chinese New Year. She is a great women, my inspiration.

( Making Rice balls upon arrival)

(Pink Rice balls ready to served!!)

Tang Yuan similarly means 'round dumplings in soup' or as many like to call it rice balls, is traditionally made and eaten by the Chinese on Yuan Xiao festival. Coincidentally, Yuan Xiao festival falls on the 23rd of December this year, which is also the 1st day of our trip to Singapore for Christmas. Upon arriving to Johor, without even resting our heads or changing our clothes, my grandmother pulls us all to dig in and make our own rice balls. Rice balls are actually made of flour with peanut fillings inside served with soup. Yum yum~!!

( Exquisite Korean BBQ)

( My grandma and all her great children)

( Also making up to my grandma's belated birthday-grandparents)

(Aha!! Presents stealer!)

I tasted the best Korean BBQ yet in Malaysia(to a certain extent) served by koreans too!! Sorry but i don't remember the name of the restaurant. Good Luck in searching.ha!
Well well, that's all for the 1st day. To be continue~~
